When Is Bird Netting the Right Solution for a Building?
Bird netting can be an effective solution when birds are repeatedly entering, roosting, or nesting within larger protected areas of a building. Rather than attempting to discourage birds from individual landing points, structural netting creates a physical barrier that prevents access to the entire treated space.
We can install structural bird netting around areas such as porticos, dock overhangs, light wells, columns, rooftop HVAC equipment, aircraft hangars, and storage areas. Different net sizes are available, allowing the system to be selected according to the birds involved and the area requiring protection.
Installation is important because the net needs to completely exclude birds from the protected area. Gaps or improperly secured sections can reduce the effectiveness of the system.
