Bird control can be particularly challenging on properties where maintaining the appearance of the building is important. In these situations, a low-profile deterrent may provide an effective option without creating a significant visual change to the structure.

Our wire deterrent systems, also known as pin-and-wire systems, use stainless steel wire held taut by strategically positioned stainless steel posts. The wire occupies the space birds would normally use for perching, making the treated surface less desirable without relying on chemicals.

Because the components are relatively discreet, wire deterrent systems can be considered for properties where more visible exclusion methods may not be preferred. However, their effectiveness still depends on the bird species, the surfaces involved, and how birds are currently using the structure.

We evaluate those conditions during our inspection before recommending a system. Our goal is to select a deterrent based on the actual infestation while also considering the building’s architecture, appearance, and operational requirements.
