Metal Mesh/Sheetmetal Exclusion
Metal Mesh
- Also known as hardware cloth, we use a 1/2″ x 1″ welded and galvanized product that is cut, fit and formed to the openings on the building; we can also use aluminum, copper, or stainless steel to match a building exterior.
Mesh Sheet Metal
- Roll stock or sheet stock aluminum is cut and fabricated to cover openings; we can also use other metal products such as copper, stainless steel, or galvanized sheetstock – this can be painted to match the buildings exterior. Where appropriate, mesh sheet metal is used to close holes and seal out the birds.
Exclusion control programs provide an immediate relocation, solution to invasive bird species. Cavity nesting birds, and birds that use holes or slits in buildings as an entry point for nesting, can be stopped with these control methods. Buildings with unusual designs or areas that can not be treated with conventional programs are best suited for this type of exclusion program.
